Ian Thomas has been the leading tight end for the Carolina Panthers so far in 2020, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s been the best play for fantasy owners.
Fantasy Football analysis: Panthers TE Ian Thomas
Thomas has just five receptions through five weeks and has scored one time. In the entire season, he’s seen 10 targets and has seen his snap counts vary rapidly from 66% all the way down to 55% some games.
This week against the Chicago Bears it probably won’t get much easier for Thomas either. The Bears only give up an average of 8.6 fantasy points to tight ends each week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Thomas hasn’t given fantasy owners any reason to be super excited this season, with just nine points overall on the season. There’s no reason to see why that would change this week either.
Sit him.
