We go over Teddy Bridgewater’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Panthers Week 6 matchup against the Bears.

No Christian McCaffrey? No problem. The Panthers are now on a three game win streak and Teddy Bridgewater has been at the helm of this well oiled offense. This past weekend, Bridgewater completed 27 of 37 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns to finish with 20.82 fantasy points. Can similar production be expected in a Week 6 tilt with the Bears? We break down the fantasy implications below.

Fantasy Football analysis: Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater

While Bridgewater’s Week 5 performance was impressive, it must be noted that it came against a very weak Atlanta secondary. Even so, Bridgewater seems to be settling in well in Carolina, as his chemistry with multiple receivers is growing each week. Bridgewater also helped the team seamlessly transition from Christian McCaffrey to Mike Davis, as Davis has been producing well in both the rushing and passing game. The Bears are a tougher match-up than the Falcons, but they are not a defense to avoid at all costs. They are allowing 230.8 passing yards per game, but have only allowed four passing touchdowns on the year. Odds are, there are better options out there this week in most standard leagues. That being said, he is a suitable bye week fill in, or a solid option in 2 QB leagues for Week 6.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Sit Bridgewater in most standard leagues, but is a solid option in 2-QB or superflex formats in Week 6.
