UPDATE: Cam Newton has officially come off the Covid-19 list, per ESPN’s Field Yates. Upgrade all Patriots offensive players.

New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton will return to practice on Thursday, per ESPN’s Field Yates. Newton tested positive for Covid-19 on October 3rd and will return to practice on the 15th. The Patriots weren’t able to play their Week 5 game against the Broncos due to Covid-19 concerns, but appear to be on track to play their rescheduled game this Sunday.

Newton has played well since joining the Patriots, passing for 714 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions and rushing for 149 yards and four more touchdowns through three games. After poor showings from both Brian Hoyer and Jarrett Stidham last week, the team is likely thrilled to get him back.
