Mountain West announces 2020 TV schedule

While the entire schedule isn’t released, we now know when and where the league will be putting games on tv in 2020.

The Mountain West Conference let everyone know when 42 games would be played today by announcing their TV schedules with CBS Sports Network and Fox Sports, mostly shown on FS1 and FS2.

There was only one non-conference game announced, and that was the BYU Cougars against the Boise State Broncos on FS1 scheduled for Friday, November 6th. BYU sits at #14 in the AP Poll with a 4-0 record presently, and Boise is expected to be one of the best teams in the MWC. That might be the most compelling game on the lists below.

The Hawai’i Rainbows have a new head coach in Todd Graham, and they’ll make their national TV debut in the battle for the Paniolo Trophy against Wyoming on Friday, October 30th on FS1 at 9:45 p.m. ET.

With the lack of divisions this year due to the amended schedule, the #1 seed and #2 seed in the league will meet in the Mountain West Conference Championship game on December 19th on Fox or FS1. No league wants to play their title game on basic cable if they can avoid it, but the 19th is already full of title games already, so it possibly will be moved to the smaller network.
