Thursday update: Fournette and McCoy both got in another limited practice on Thursday.
Wednesday PM update: The Bucs returned to practice and Fournette and McCoy were both listed as limited on the injury report.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers returned to practice on Tuesday in preparation for Week 6 and running backs Leonard Fournette and LeSean McCoy were both on hand, according to Rick Stroud. The Bucs do not have to release a formal practice participation report until Wednesday.
Fournette was inactive in Week 3 and then an unexpected active in Week 4 in spite of a doubtful tag due to an ankle injury. He played one offensive snap in an emergency role. McCoy was inactive in Week 5 due to his own ankle injury.
Ronald Jones got all the backfield carries due to the shorthanded group. Ke’Shawn Vaughn was his backup but missed a chunk of time due to an in-game chest injury. Jones finished with 17 carries for 106 yards and three receptions on five targets for 19 yards. Vaughn had no carries but finished with two receptions on three targets for five yards.
