Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Portuguese Football Federation. The Portuguese forward was serving the Portugal National team ahead of their Nations League game against Sweden.

The rest of the team returned negative tests Tuesday and the match is expected to take place. Ronald is “doing well, without symptoms, and in isolation” according to the statement.

Portugal are currently -137 favorites according to the DraftKings Sportsbook. It remains to be seen how the odds will shift without Portugal’s biggest attacking option on the pitch.

The odds for total Portugal goals will certainly change fast based on Ronaldo’s absence. Currently, over 1.5 goals was -265 and the over on 0.5 goals was -1250. He’s the clear talisman for the offense and they’ll have to shift to a more possession heavy strategy as opposed to the counter-attacking they’re used to with Ronaldo on the pitch.
