Miami Heat guard Goran Dragic could make his return to the NBA Finals on Sunday. Dragic has missed four games since tearing his plantar fascia in Game 1, but is listed as active ahead of Game 6, according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel’s Ira Winderman.
Tyler Herro will continue to fill in as Duncan Robinson’s backcourt partner. Dragic could split time with Herro and Kendrick Nunn, who has been able to work back into the rotation after being relegated to the bench early in the postseason. Nunn scored 14 points off the bench in Game 5 and was instrumental in the Heat’s victory, but his role could be reduced with Dragic’s return.
Dragic is only second to only Jimmy Butler in points per game (19.9) this postseason and could give Miami the boost it needs to push the Los Angeles Lakers to a Game 7.
