Mike Davis injures foot but headed back into the game in Week 5

The Panthers lead back might have injured his foot. Trent Cannon is his backup.

1st quarter update: Davis appears to be on track to return to the game quickly. He is up and has his helmet on, ready to go back in, per Getzenberg.

The Carolina Panthers are on a role, but they might have hit a brief speed bump. Running back Mike Davis appears to have injured his foot in the first quarter of Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons. Davis went to the Panthers bench after a recent play and has trainers looking at his foot, per Alaina Getzenberg.

Davis had two rushes for 11 yards and two receptions for 20 yards prior to the foot injury. Trent Cannon is his backup.
