Game time moved: The Broncos-Patriots game has been moved to next week, Sunday of Week 6, per Adam Schefter. The league is going to reschedule Broncos-Dolphins to make room for this game.
Sunday AM update: The Patriots have had a new positive test Sunday morning and shut down the facility. They are testing everybody and should have results later Sunday morning. Adam Schefter reports the NFL is still planning on playing the Monday game, but the game has to be in question at this point. Barring any news before 1 p.m. ET, you should bench your Patriots and Broncos.
The Denver Broncos could have quarterback Drew Lock back in action for this week’s Monday afternoon game in New England. He was officially listed as questionable on this week’s injury report. Another positive sign for his return is that he was able to practice, in a limited role, all week. While that’s good news for Broncos fans, Lock’s return doesn’t change much from a fantasy football perspective.
Fantasy impact: Drew Lock injury
The second-year signal caller has been out for the last two games with a shoulder injury he suffered in Week 2 against the Steelers. Lock left that game in the first quarter, but prior to that, he started the season in with a 216-yard, one-touchdown performance against the Titans. He’ll be like a breath of fresh air after watching Brett Rypien’s three-pick performance against the Jets last week.
If Lock can’t play, Rypien would get the start. Either way, both players should be avoided against the Patriots this week.
