Game status: Jackson is ACTIVE for Week 5.
Game day update: Jackson is expected to play, per Adam Schefter.
This was something of a rough week for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. He missed Wednesday’s practice with a knee injury, and just as that was clearing up, he missed Thursday’s with an illness (but not THAT one, thankfully). However, Jackson was back to practice on Friday, and is expected to play this week against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Fantasy impact: Lamar Jackson injury
Jackson is still officially listed as questionable on the injury report this week, one of 12 players from the Ravens with that designation. He’s not as productive so far this season as he was in 2019, but it’s certainly not enough of a drop off to keep him out of fantasy lineups. And if precedent is any guide, Jackson could feast on the Bengals this week. In four career games against Cincinnati, he’s got 609 passing yards, 342 rushing yards, and five total touchdowns (three in the air, two on the ground).
