What to do with Josh Jacobs in Week 5 fantasy football

We go over Josh Jacob’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Raiders Week 5 matchup against the Chiefs.

After two wins over the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints, the Las Vegas Raiders dropped the last two games against the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills. Last week against the Bills, Jacobs had one of his worst games of the season, rushing for only 48 yards on 15 carries.

This week, Jacobs and Raiders face a Kansas City Chiefs team that is a week removed from allowing Damien Harris of the Patriots to rush for 100 yards on only 17 carries.

Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders RB Josh Jacobs

The Chiefs have struggled against opposing running backs all season, starting with allowing David Johnson of the Houston Texans to rush for 77 yards and a touchdown Week 1. Jacobs is the best running back the Chiefs have faced all season, and the Chiefs and Raiders are set to be one of the highest scoring games of the week.

Jacobs doesn’t have much competition in the backfield for either carries or catches, and even if the Chiefs jump out to an early lead, Jacobs could be the beneficiary of plenty of targets out of the backfield in garbage time.
