What to do with Ezekiel Elliott in Week 5 fantasy football

We go over Ezekiel Elliott’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Cowboys Week 5 matchup against the Giants.

What to expect from Ezekiel Elliott this weekend

Dak Prescott cannot keep his current pace. Prescott has averaged 422 passing yards for the Dallas Cowboys in 2020, and the Dallas Cowboys only have one win to show for it. If the Cowboys want to turn their season around, they will likely need to try a more balanced attack on offense and lean on the legs of Ezekiel Elliott.

This week, the Cowboys face the New York Giants in a NFC East show down, and Elliott gets to face a Giants defense that allowed Benny Snell of the Pittsburgh Steelers to rush for 113 yards Week 1.

Benny. Snell.

Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott

Zeke failed to find the endzone for the first time in 2020 last week against the Cleveland Browns, and has failed to cross the 100-yard rushing yard mark all season.

Elliott owners have hopefully been patient this season, and hopefully the start of “Elite Ezekiel” begins against the Giants Sunday. If you were going to try to buy low on Zeke, you’ve probably missed you shot, as a matchup against a middle-of-the-road Giants defense represents the best matchup for Zeke since the Atlanta Falcons, when Zeke had his best game of 2020.

Did you really spend a first round pick on Zeke to not start him?
