What to do with Eric Ebron in Week 5 fantasy football

The Steelers’ tight end has a good matchup this week.

NFL: Houston Texans at Pittsburgh Steelers Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

We can forgive you if Steelers tight end Eric Ebron fell off your radar after his team’s unexpected bye last week. Maybe that will work to your advantage, since everyone else will have forgotten about him too. He’s coming off a great game and has a prime matchup this week.

Fantasy Football analysis: Steelers TE Eric Ebron

In Pittsburgh’s Week 3 win over the Texans, Ebron led the team with seven targets (though it’s important to note that WR Diontae Johnson left early in that one). He hauled in five passes for 52 yards and a touchdown.

This week, the Steelers host the Eagles. That’s significant for Ebron’s fantasy prospects this week because Philly is giving up an average of more than 68 yards and a touchdown per game to tight ends.

That doesn’t mean you should have him ranked above the stalwarts at the position like George Kittle or Travis Kelce, but he’s a sneaky good play if you need help at the position. Plus, he’s a bargain at just $4,000 in DraftKings leagues.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Eric Ebron.
