The Minnesota Vikings passing game is seeing the growth of a new solid combination of wide receivers Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson. Thielen has been pretty consistent as one of the top pass catchers for fantasy owners, and Jefferson went over the 100-yard mark in consecutive games.
Fantasy Football analysis: Vikings WRs Adam Thielen, Justin Jefferson
On Sunday, Thielen caught eight passes for 114 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings’ win over the Houston Texans. He also added eight receiving yards on one rush. On the other side, Jefferson caught four passes for 103 yards, following his nine-catch, 175-yard performance from Week 3.
With these type of numbers, it would make sense for the Vikings to open up the passing game a little more moving forward. Minnesota ranks dead last in the NFL with only 100 pass attempts through four games, though it appears the Vikings have a duo that can be trusted to increase that number.
Minnesota’s passing game has about as good of a matchup as it can ask for with the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, which just gave up 315 yards passing to Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Miami Dolphins.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Thielen remains a No. 1 wide receiver in all leagues moving forward with Jefferson as a third wide receiver with room to increase his value throughout the season.
