The Seattle Seahawks are posting eye-popping stats in the passing game this season. And while quarterback Russell Wilson and his top two receivers, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockette, are getting most of the attention, understandably so, running back Chris Carson has been an indispensable part of their game-winning offensive formula, not to mention a bona fide fantasy stud.
Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks RBs Chris Carson, Carlos Hyde
Carson has certainly played a big role in Seattle’s new found love for throwing the ball. Three of his five total touchdowns this season have been receiving scores. He’s got 113 yards through the air too. He’s also been productive on the ground, rolling up 237 rushing yards and two touchdowns, both of which he scored last week against Miami.
Hyde’s had a role to play too, but not one that’s big enough to merit fantasy consideration. Both players are dealing with injuries this week—a knee issue for Carson and a shoulder for Hyde—that have had them getting limited work in practice. However, Carson played through his injury last week, and didn’t seem any worse for wear, so he should be good to go for a juicy matchup against the struggling Vikings.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Chris Carson. Sit Carlos Hyde.
