The 2020 MLB Playoffs are underway and we are fast approaching the World Series. The Division round wrapped up on Friday evening and the league as advanced to the League Championship round. The LCS round opens on Sunday, October 11 with the Rays and Astros squaring off in San Diego.
The playoffs expanded to 16 teams this year, which brought us eight Wild Card series that were best-of-three at the site of the higher seed. The ALDS and NLDS were in four Southern California and Texas locations, and now the ALCS and NLCS are in neutral locations. The ALCS is at Petco Park in San Diego and the NLCS is at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
The league has announced game times for the first two days, starting Sunday, and will update as we move forward. The ALCS will get started on Sunday, October 11, with all games airing on TBS. The NLCS will get started on Monday, October 12, with all games airing on FOX or FS1.
