Scotty Miller returns to practice, Leonard Fournette is OUT for Week 4

The Bucs won’t have Fournette, but could have Miller against the Chargers.

Friday update: Leonard Fournette is out against the Chargers, while Scotty Miller was able to return to practice, but isn’t assured to play. Fournette’s absence will help Ronald Jones see a healthier workload and makes him a decent fantasy start. Miller could be a good start with Chris Godwin also out, but we will need to hear some positive news about him heading into Sunday. If he can’t go, Justin Watson gets a boost high enough to start in fantasy.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be without RB Leonard Fournette and WR Scotty Miller this weekend, as the two haven’t practiced as of Thursday. There is still time if they get work in on Friday, but so far not good for the two.

If Fournette misses, Ronald Jones becomes a safer fantasy play against the Chargers strong overall defense. If Miller can’t go, the Buccaneers are already without Chris Godwin, making Mike Evans a slightly stronger play and giving Justin Watson a starting role with the uptick in targets that goes with that. Rob Gronkowski and O.J. Howard will also see more work, giving both some appeal in 2TE leagues.
