Thursday Night Football brings us the battle of two winless teams, as the New York Jets host the Denver Broncos. If you’re watching this game, you are likely a fan of one of the teams, have fantasy players you were forced to start playing, you’re Brett Rypien’s uncle or you put some cash down on this dumpster fire. And we’re here for you if you’re the latter, as we take a look at how the wagers and money are leaning tonight.

The odds favor Sam Darnold and company, as the Jets are 1-point favorites at home. The point total is a low 39.5, implying 20.75 points for New York and 19.75 points for Denver. So far, the Jets are 0-3 against the spread while Denver is 2-1. Denver has hit the under two of their three games while the Jets have hit the over in two of their three games.

As almost a 1-point underdog, Broncos backers are making themselves known at DraftKings Sportsbook. Betters are likely betting against the Jets instead of for the Broncos at this point, as both teams have more problems than solutions.

The majority of the handle and bets are for Denver, with 78 percent of the handle and 75 percent of the bets leaning toward taking the point and siding with Denver. The same is true with the moneyline, as 68 percent of the handle and 76 percent of the bets favor the road team.

As for the point total, the money is split with 52 percent of the handle banking on the game going over 39.5 points. The percent of bets made are slightly leaning the other way, with 52 percent leaning under and 48 percent over.

The Broncos are down to their third string quarterback in, along with one of the worst offensive lines going right now, made worse by injuries. The Jets have also dealt with many injuries, but haven’t competed as well as Denver so far this season. There hasn’t been anything positive to take out of their first three games. The question tonight is, which team has the better coaching and motivation to play through an extremely rough patch for each team.
