The first game of Week 4 will be between the Denver Broncos and New York Jets on Thursday night. Both teams are dealing with significant injuries on offense, so kickers could play a big part in determining the final result. Let’s go over the fantasy football outlook for Brandon McManus and Sam Ficken ahead of the matchup.
Fantasy Football analysis: Ks Brandon McManus, Sam Ficken
MCManus is 3-for-4 on field goal attempts and has made a few kicks from distance this season. He has one made field goal from 49 yards out and another from 56 yards out. He’s a perfect 5-for-5 of extra points. Ficken, on the other hand, is 4-for-4 on field goals and extra points. However, the Jets kicker has only made one attempt from beyond 40 yards. He wasn’t able to do much in Week 3 because New York only managed to score seven points. His team’s offensive struggles could hurt his upside.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
I’d opt to start McManus. He has the more productive offense and has connected from range more than Ficken this season.
