UPDATE: The Ravens announced Ingram was a DNP on Tuesday.

The Baltimore Ravens are back at practice, and they have a pretty big question coming out of their bye week. Running back Mark Ingram was not taking part in the media portion of practice on Tuesday. He felt some tightness at some point recently and was “pulled back to avoid re-injury,” according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.

By all accounts, Ingram was making progress last week. Rapoport tweeted that Ingram was full speed before feeling the tightness, and “he still has a chance to play the Titans.”

It sounds like Ingram will be listed as a DNP for this first practice of the week, which means Gus Edwards and Justice Hill will get the running back reps on Tuesday. The big question is how things develop at the Wednesday and Thursday practices.

If Ingram sits the whole week, the Ravens might be forced to rely on their backups. Ingram has been one of the best running backs in the league this year, but he’s got solid backups. Edwards rushed for 130 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17, and Hill added 39 yards and a touchdown. Edwards would get the start, but we’ll see first what Ingram’s status looks like as the week progresses.
