D/ST DFS sleepers for Divisional Round

We broke down some potential defense/special teams sleeper DFS picks you should consider for the Divisional Round this weekend.

The NFC Wild Card has concluded, and the entire field for the Divisional Round has been decided. A lucky defense/special teams play can really maximize your lineup’s potential. We broke down some potential defense/special teams sleeper DFS picks you should consider for the Divisional Round this weekend.

Seattle Seahawks ($2,600)

Seattle is fresh off one of its better defensive performances of the year, as it held the Philadelphia Eagles to nine points in the Wild Card round. This may have been against Josh McCown rather than Carson Wentz, who was sidelined with an injury in the first quarter, but it was still impressive.

The Seahawks tallied a season high seven sacks in the contest, which contributed to their 11 DKFP. They face an inconsistent Green Bay Packers offense in the Divisional round. There is a lot of downside against Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, and company, but there is serious upside if the Packers aren’t on track.

Minnesota Vikings ($2,700)

Minnesota’s defense/special teams averages the fourth most DKFP (9) per contest in the Divisional Round. It just faced the New Orleans Saints’ explosive scoring offense, and held it to 10 points through three quarters. Had the Vikings not let New Orleans go on a 10-0 run in the fourth quarter to force overtime, it might’ve been a much stronger showing. It might take some luck for Minnesota limit the San Francisco 49ers’ offense, but it’s possible. After all, Washington managed to keep them to nine points in Week 7.
