Opening NBA point spreads for January 6th schedule

We go over the initial lines on DraftKings Sportsbook for Monday’s nine-game slate.

NBA: San Antonio Spurs at Milwaukee Bucks Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Monday’s NBA schedule has nine games, with the first game set to tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET. There is only one game that tips off after 8:30 p.m. ET, so most games on the schedule should be finished by midnight.

There are a few games that stand out as excellent targets for fantasy owners, as the Wizards, Hawks and Pelicans are all on the schedule on Monday. The Wizards, Hawks and Pelicans make up the three worst teams at preventing points to opponents, which often makes them fruitful fantasy targets for opposing players.

In addition, the bottom six rebounding teams by the percentage of missed shots rebounded are also all on the schedule. The worst rebounding teams are made up of the Wizards, Hawks, Bulls, Hornets, Warriors and Thunder.

Here are the initial lines for tonight’s nine-game slate on DraftKings Sportsbook (Odds and lines subject to change):

Indiana Pacers at Charlotte Hornets (+5, 209.5) 7:00 p.m. ET
Brooklyn Nets at Orlando Magic (-5.5, 210.5) 7:00 p.m. ET
Oklahoma City Thunder at Philadelphia 76ers (-7, 213) 7:00 p.m. ET
Boston Celtics at Washington Wizards (+9, 226.5) 7:00 p.m. ET
Denver Nuggets at Atlanta Hawks (+7.5, 218) 7:30 p.m. ET
Utah Jazz at New Orleans Pelicans (+2.5, 223) 8:00 p.m. ET
Chicago Bulls at Dallas Mavericks (-8.5, 217.5) 8:30 p.m. ET
Milwaukee Bucks at San Antonio Spurs (+7, 229.5) 8:30 p.m. ET
