The NFL wrapped up the Wild Card round with two thrillers and two other games that finished with one-score deficits. You couldn’t ask for much more as we move on to the Divisional round of the 2020 NFL Playoffs.
The playoffs opened with a 12-team field, and we are now down to eight teams. DraftKings Sportsbook has updated their Super Bowl 54 odds, and while we don’t have any surprises up top, there is on notable change. A week ago, the Vikings were +3300 to win the Super Bowl. This week, they are +1400. The improvement is not surprising, but it’s notable they climbed ahead of the Texans, with whom they were tied in the odds last week.
The Texans are viewed as having a tougher road to Miami. They have to beat the Chiefs and likely have to beat the Ravens as well. While the 49ers have shorter Super Bowl odds than the Chiefs, if the Ravens were not in the picture, Kansas City would be the favorite. Meanwhile, the 49ers and Packers top the NFC, but are not viewed collectively in quite the same vein as the Ravens and Chiefs.
Here are the Super Bowl 54 odds heading into the week of the Divisional round.
Baltimore Ravens: +200 (+220)
San Francisco 49ers: +325 (+400)
Kansas City Chiefs: +350 (+450)
Green Bay Packers: +750 (+1000)
Seattle Seahawks: +1200 (+2500)
Minnesota Vikings: +1400 (+3300)
Houston Texans: +2500 (+3300)
Tennessee Titans: +3000 (+5500)
