Kevin Love voiced his displeasure toward the Cleveland Cavaliers direction and GM Koby Altman at shootaround on Saturday, The Athletic’s Joe Vardon and Shams Charania reported. Love had an outburst during the Cavaliers game vs. the Toronto Raptors on New Year’s Eve, and the team fined him $1,000.
Apparently that ticked Love off and he’s only been asking for a trade for most of the season now. The Cavs are 10-24 and aren’t competing for a playoff spot, so Love wants out so he can compete for another ring. This is understandable for the veteran, who was signed by Altman and Cleveland under the impression the team would be competitive.
We’ll continue to monitor trade rumors surround Love leading up to the Deadline on February 6th.
