Derrick Henry ($8,200) missed Week 16 due to a hamstring injury but looked fully healthy in a Week 17 return, posting a monstrous volume day. Henry carried the ball 32 times and rushed for 211 yards with three TDs, one of the seven most productive individual fantasy games by a running back in 2019. Henry’s 21 DraftKings fantasy points (DKFP) per game ranks second among RBs on DraftKings’ four-game NFL slate this weekend, and Henry finished as the fourth most productive fantasy RB on a per game basis during the regular season.
Fantasy football analysis: Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry
At $8,200, Henry is the priciest running back on DraftKings’ four-game NFL slate, which locks on Saturday at 4:25 p.m. ET. Henry is set for a rough matchup against a Patriots defense that limited RB to the fewest DraftKings fantasy points (DKFP) per game during the regular season and allowed only one rushing TD.
However, given Henry’s potential for ridiculous volume, he carries appeal regardless of the brutal matchup. Henry’s 32 touches during Week 17 ranked as the fifth most touches by any player in an individual game this season, a good trend to take into the postseason. Henry ranked in the top five in total touches during the regular season and ranked in the top seven in rushing attempts inside the red zone. If Tennessee looks to pound the ball on the road against the Patriots, Henry could have a strong fantasy outing even if he is inefficient.
With Henry carrying an expensive price tag against the best defense at preventing fantasy points to RB, Henry could be somewhat lesser-owned in tournaments, making him a potentially good tournament option.
