The Golden State Warriors are unlikely to deal G D’Angelo Russell before the Trade Deadline, and The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported Golden State would have to be “blown away” in order to deal Russell.

Shams also reported in his weekly Insider column that the Warriors have discussed moving veteran guards Glenn Robinson III and Alec Burks before the deadline. These moves seem much more likely to go down considering the Warriors are 9-27 and remain at the bottom of the Western Conference, and second to last in the NBA overall. Once Stephen Curry returns from injury, we can expect the former MVP to return to the backcourt with Russell, so there won’t be much need for Burks.
