Mark Ingram on track to return from calf injury for Divisional round

The Ravens look to be about as healthy as they can expect in January when their Divisional round playoff game comes around.

The Baltimore Ravens closed out their final day of practice during their first round bye, and now begins the wait to see whether they’ll face the Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills, or Houston Texans.

The bye week came at a good time with quarterback Lamar Jackson dealing with the flu and running back Mark Ingram recovering from a Week 16 calf injury. Ingram sat out practice all of Week 17, although he likely would have sat the game at least given the Ravens had clinched home field. However, he continued rehab this week and head coach John Harbaugh expects him to practice next week and play a week from Saturday, according to beat writer Jeff Zrebiec.

Fantasy football analysis: Ravens RB Mark Ingram

Ingram could get a range of run defenses pending the outcome of Wild Card weekend. Tennessee ranks 10th, Buffalo ranks 18th, and Houston ranks 22nd. Ingram was the third most efficient running back this season and ranked first in success rate. As a pass catcher, he ranked first in efficiency per play and fifth in overall efficiency.

For DFS, it will come down to where you’re most prepared to invest. There’s a lot to like about Ingram, but he’ll likely be a popular play next week regardless of the opponent.
