It’s not a huge board tonight, but you can make some money wallowing in North Carolina’s Disappointment Tour 2020, and it’s the first conference game for Kansas since they had players throwing stools at passersby.
Let’s see what’s on the board!

Tonight’s best bets
NC State -6
UNC is quite bad at basketball, and there’s nothing more their “little brothers” in the Triangle would love to do than kick them when they’re down. Where the Wolfpack can struggle is in getting stops, but who needs stops when you’re facing a team that only shoots 41.2% from the floor and 30.2% from 3? Those numbers are putting one of basketball’s blue bloods around the 300’s in D1.
These are the kind of games where you want to make the team that’s hurt you for so long bleed just a smidge, and PNC Arena has decades of angst to get out tonight. Lay the 6, and ride Raleigh’s outstanding senior transfer C.J. Bryce to the win.
Oklahoma State +7
This isn’t a home-dog website we swear, but there’s far too much going on in Lawrence right now for a young team to be settled on the road. Don’t worry about the Jayhawks missing chair chucker Silvio De Sousa: it’s the last game of suspension for David McCormack, and he’s the player Rock Chalk will miss this evening. Beating Rick Barnes at home doesn’t clear out all the bad juju at once.
Let’s make it very clear that OKSU is not good: they’re 0-6 in the Big 12, and head coach Michael Boynton is on the hottest seat this side of Hattie B’s chicken. But it’ll be rocking in Stillwater tonight, they’ve played better in their last two games away from home, and this is the kind of one-possession loss that will keep a coach awake at night in a Bristol hotel room during his analyst tryout for ESPN next season.
Lindy Waters and his two fellow-starting seniors Cameron McGriff and Thomas Dziagwa are playing for their defining career memory tonight, and they’ll make a game of it. ‘Hawks win, Cowboys cover.
