Report: Multiple teams asking Warriors about Alec Burks

The Warriors aren’t playing for much and should sell off some assets before the deadline, which is on Feb. 6. Burks is an appealing scorer who would provide depth at guard to a contender. It’s unclear which teams are interested, but the market has been pretty active this season.

Burks is coming off a 33-point night against the Trail Blazers, showcasing his ability to fill it up. D’Angelo Russell has popped up in trade rumors, but he’s unlikely to be moved before the deadline, since the team has stated they want to hold onto him. If Burks is moved, beat reporter Connor Letourneau is saying the Dubs want a late first-round pick or early second-round pick in return.
