UPDATE: Jan. 24, 5:28 p.m. — Drummond will miss his second straight game vs. the Grizzlies on Friday. Bruce Brown is also out a song he’s dealing with an illness.
UPDATE: Jan. 24, 1:38 p.m. — Drummond has been downgraded to questionable Friday vs. the Memphis Grizzlies. With Drummond potentially out again, we should see a frontcourt of Markieff Morris, Thon Maker and Tony Snell again for the Pistons. There’s some value in Morris and Maker, both good rebounders. Christan Wood and Sekou Doumbouya should also see minutes off the bench.
UPDATE: Jan. 22, 6:23 p.m. — Drummond has been ruled out vs. the Kings. With Drummond out, we should see plenty of Sekou Doumbouya and Christian Wood for the Pistons tonight. I think this helps out the Kings bigs more though — Dewayne Dedmon and Nemanja Bjelica are both strong DraftKings plays.
#Pistons’ Andre Drummond (mouth/missing tooth) will not play against the #Kings tonight.

Detroit Pistons C Andre Drummond has a lip issue and is questionable for Wednesday’s game vs. the Sacramento Kings. Drummond left Monday’s game vs. the Wizards briefly due to what was assumed a head injury. It now appears Drummond took a hit to the lip and he may not be able to play against the Kings.
Fantasy basketball analysis: Pistons C Andre Drummond
Drummond played 35 minutes on Monday against the Wizards and had 18 points, 16 rebounds and four steals. If Drummond were to sit out, Sekou Doumbouya would get more minutes and usage — potentially at PF and C. Markieff Morris and Christian Wood would be candidates to start in place of Drummond.
Doumbouya would be the most appealing option from a DFS perspective on DraftKings at $4,600. He’s been starting and has a decent ceiling given his athleticism and scoring ability. Wood ($4,000) and Morris ($4,200) are less appealing options, but decent GPP pivots.
