Miles Sanders misses another practice Thursday

Miles Sanders won’t practice on Thursday as he recovers from an ankle injury which forced him from last week’s game. An MRI on his ankle reportedly showed a low-grade sprain, giving the team optimism that Sanders would suit up on Sunday against the Seahawks.

Beat write Eliot-Shorr Parks opined on Twitter that Sanders would likely play but he wondered if he’d be able to make it through the game. Since this is a playoff game and Sanders doesn’t have a high-ankle sprain, he will likely gut it out, but we might not want to go all in on him for fantasy. If he can get work in on Friday, his outlook will likely be more positive.

If he is limited or misses the game entirely, we’ll again see a big helping of Boston Scott. Jordan Howard has been cleared of his shoulder injury and he suited up last week butdidn’t get a touch. If Sanders is out, I’d expect to see more of Howard than last week, but how much is up in the air.
