The Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans are putting together a fun AFC Championship Game, but the tide might be turning. The Chiefs started off slow, dropping behind 10-0 and 17-7, but they’ve bounced back to take a 21-17 lead at the half. DraftKings Sportsbook has set the second half point spread at Chiefs -3.5, and the point total is 26.5.
Patrick Mahomes seemed off track at times, but he picked up serious momentum as the half moved along. He threw for 172 yards in the first half, and found Tyreek Hill for a pair of touchdowns. Mahomes capped off the first half with a 27-yard scramble for a touchdown with 11 seconds left in the second quarter.
Derrick Henry has continued in his work-horse role rushing 16 times in the first half, but he was contained to a certain degree. He rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown, but is averaging 3.9 yards per carry. He might get 35 carries, but the Chiefs will gladly trade them for four yards a carry.
