We’re almost there! The Super Bowl is two weeks away, and later today we’ll find out the two participants. The third round of the tournament gets underway Sunday afternoon and we’re down to the final four teams looking to take home the Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl 54.
We have three favorites and one underdog in the mix this weekend in the Conference Championships. The Titans continued their magical run, easily defeating the Ravens in the Divisional round as double digit underdogs. Meanwhile, the favored 49ers, Packers, and Chiefs all handled their business, and so we get three of the top favorites moving on.
Sunday gets going with the AFC Championship Game at 3:05 p.m. ET on CBS. The second seeded Kansas City Chiefs play host to the sixth seeded Tennessee Titans. We get Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, Tracy Wolfson (field reporter), and Jay Feely (field reporter) calling the game.
The Chiefs are a touchdown favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total sitting at 52. Derrick Henry has been rolling of late, but I’m just not seeing Tennessee keeping up in this one. I’d bet the over and the Chiefs.
The other half of the title weekend doubleheader has the NFC Championship Game getting underway at 6:40 p.m. ET on FOX. The top seeded San Francisco 49ers play host to the second seeded Green Bay Packers. We get Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Erin Andrews (field reporter), and Chris Myers (field reporter) calling the game.
The 49ers are a 7.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total sitting at 46.5. While San Francisco crushed Green Bay earlier this year, this just seems like a potential slog with the Packers getting a late cover and the game coming in under the point total.
