Draftkings Sportsbook will have several prop bets available for this weekend’s AFC and NFC title games. The Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, and San Francisco 49ers have players in the prop bet pool. We broke down which player you should bet on recording the most passing yards between Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Garoppolo.
Most receiving yards: Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (+105) or 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo (-130)
Rodgers threw for 243 yards and two scores on 27 attempts to take down the Seattle Seahawks in the Divisional Round. San Francisco held Green Bay running back Aaron Jones to a mere 38 rushing yards earlier this season, and Rodgers hurled 33 passes in the contest because of the opposition’s dominant defensive line. He finished with 104 yards that game, but took plenty of shots downfield.
Garoppolo finished with a season low 131 passing yards against the Minnesota Vikings in the Divisional Round and has tallied less than 200 yards through the air in five games this year. He also threw the fewest passes (19) he has all year last week. His team’s defense and rushing game relieve pressure from him, which means he doesn’t have to be a gunslinger every week. He’s capable of putting up big numbers, but doesn’t need to often.
Betting Recommendation:
Bet on Rodgers. The Packers will look to win the game with his arm. The 49ers have other ways to win.
