The Titans have made it this far by pounding the ball with Derrick Henry, but if you want to be contrarian, you can go the other way and target the passing game. A.J. Brown is in the Rookie of the Year conversation after a tremendous finish to the regular season, but he’s cooled down in the postseason, and there’s not much behind him. Here’s how I’d rank the Titans’ WRs for the two-game slate on DraftKings.
A.J. Brown ($5,200)
In theory, Brown is one of the top overall values on this slate. He entered the postseason at $7,400 against the Patriots, but Tennessee’s game plans along the way have phased him out. While he has just two receptions on four targets in the playoffs, the Titans are going to need him if they fall behind in Kansas City. Brown had four games with 100-plus yards and at least one touchdown down the stretch in the regular season, so getting this type of discount on him is tough to pass up. He’s shown Tyreek Hill/Davante Adams upside, and is a fraction of the salary.
Kalif Raymond ($3,400)
While Davis lines up as the WR2, Raymond’s big-play upside has me interested in him as a punt play. Tennessee likes to take a deep shot to the speedster every once-in-a-while, and did so last week. Raymond caught his lone target for a 45-yard touchdown. The Titans ran that play back in Week 13, hitting Raymond for 40-yard score. With the way the Chiefs’ offense can put up points in this game, Tennessee could find itself having to take a deep shot to someone other than the obvious choice in Brown.
Corey Davis ($4,000)
Davis was chalk on the Wild Card slate, and proceeded to go scoreless. He’s a pretty untrustworthy option, yet his salary is higher than when the postseason began. There are other plays in his price range I’d prefer on the slate, but I understand looking his way with the 53-point total. However, he ranks third in terms on WRs I’d target on the Titans. One target to Raymond could be worth 3-4 targets to Davis.
