Allen Lazard was able to get in limited practices Wednesday and Thursday as the team monitored his reps following an ankle injury in the Divisional round. He then was a full participant on Friday and taken off the injury report. Lazard was able to return to the Seahawks game after suffering his ankle injury and all reports lean toward his injury being minor.
Lazard has been the de facto No. 2 receiver of late, as he saw nine and eight targets in Weeks 16 and 17, but his injury and Aaron Rodgers’ focus on Davante Adams slowed him down enough last week to give him no targets and one rushing attempt.
But, Lazard’s recent usage history pushes him up as a possible non-Adams receiver to see good targets this Sunday. His 17 targets in the last two games of the season blow away the rest of the receivers, with Marquez Valdes-Scantling seeing eight in that stretch, for the second-most.
