The NFC and AFC Conference Championship Games take place this Sunday, and Wednesday brings the first practice participation reports of the week. All four teams are in relatively decent shape when it comes to health — at least for being this far into the season — but there will be plenty of key names that could be at less than 100 percent.
As injury information arrives, we’ll see line movement as recreational and pro sports bettors make decisions for the coming weekend. In the meantime, we’ve seen some more line movement at DraftKings Sportsbook. On Monday, we saw modest movement in the Titans-Chiefs point total, but nothing else. On Wednesday, we’re seeing more significant movement.
Packers @ 49ers
The 49ers opened as a touchdown favorite, but Tuesday afternoon the line moved to 7.5. It’s notable that the juice is heavier on the Packers +7.5 (-115) than than 49ers -7.5 (-106). Depending on how much money or from who we see more bets coming in, there is a good chance this line drops back to a touchdown between now and kickoff. The point total remains at 45.
Titans @ Chiefs
The point spread has remained the same for this game all week, and the juice has remained heavier on Titans +7.5 (-120) than on Chiefs -7.5 (-103). However, we’re seeing movement in the point total. It opened at 51 and rose to 51.5 overnight. Since then, it has climbed a full point to 52.5. Bettors don’t seem to respect either defense in this one.
