We go game-by-game and pick against the spreads on DraftKings Sportsbook for Tuesday’s six-game main card.

NBA picks against the spread tonight

Jazz (-3) @ Nets
Suns @ Hawks (+3.5)
Knicks @ Bucks (-17)
Rockets @ Grizzlies (+4.5)
Mavericks (-8) @ Warriors
Cavaliers (+15) @ Clippers

Update: Kevin Love is out for the Cavaliers, so I’m off of Cleveland getting the points. Larry Nance Jr. is back, but still don’t think that’s enough to help the Cavs cover here.

The Jazz are on a nine-game winning streak and get Donovan Mitchell back in the lineup tonight. I think they should cover this short spread on the road. Kyrie Irving is back, but isn’t at 100% and will be restricted I’d imagine. The Hawks get Trae Young back and the Suns likely won’t have Ricky Rubio (personal). I think Atlanta getting points at home is the way to go.

The Grizz are also hot on a five-game winning streak and the Rockets won’t have Russell Westbrook, plus Clint Capela and P.J. Tucker are banged up. I’ll give the edge to the Grizz getting points at home over James Harden hero ball tonight. The Bucks spread is WIDE but the Knicks are awful and won’t have Marcus Morris again. That’s big missing that toughness in the paint against Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Mavs should get Kristaps Porzingis back, but even without him, I’d say Luka Doncic and the Mavs should easily hand the Warriors their ninth straight loss. My gut is saying the Cavs can cover this spread against the Clippers. No Paul George is big and we’ve seen L.A. play tight games with the Warriors and Knicks recently. Cleveland is on second of a back-to-back but I think the Cavs have enough to keep this close.

We’ve got six games on the main slate in the NBA and we’ll be going over some point spreads and totals to open things up on DraftKings Sportsbook. But first let’s talk a little bit about the players on the slate. Kyrie Irving is back from his shoulder injury for the Brooklyn Nets, leading them to a win over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday. Irving dropped 21 points in 20 minutes — pretty good production for a first game back — so if Irving is extended a bit, look at his point total prop on DK.

As for other names to be on the lookout for, Paul George has been hampered by a hamstring injury and his status is up in the air for the Los Angeles Clippers game vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers. Kristaps Porzingis is questionable to play for the Dallas Mavericks against the Golden State Warriors, trying to return from a knee injury.
