Half PPR tight end rankings for Championship round

We get the two best tight ends in the game with Travis Kelce and George Kittle both playing this weekend. Both get exploitable matchups, as tKittle has already put up 129 yards and a touchdown in his first meeting against the Packers and Kelce caught all seven of his targets for 75 yards and a touchdown against the Titans in their earlier matchup.

Kelce has put up slightly better numbers than Kittle this season but the differences aren’t much. We can usually rely on Kelce seeing a more consistent target share and his matchup on paper is a little better, so we’ll lean his way for the No. 1 spot, but in reality it’s a coin flip as to who comes out with better numbers this week.

After the two studs, we have a pretty big drop off, as the other two starters, Jonnu Smith and Jimmy Graham, have been inconsistent as fantasy players. Smith is coming off a game where he made a spectacular touchdown reception but he has just five targets in their two playoff games. But like all of the Titans passing game pieces, they would see a bump if the Chiefs were to get up by a wide margin in the second half, pushing them to throw more often.

Jimmy Graham has been used a little more of late, as he’s seen 7 and 4 targets in his last two games and seven passes for 98 yards in those two games. It’s not much, but he’s the No. 2 target behind Davante Adams at the moment and one of the few tight ends you can count on to get targets this weekend.
