The 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship Game kicks off shortly after 8:00 p.m. on ESPN, and the eyes of the football world will be on New Orleans. The top ranked LSU Tigers face off against the third ranked Clemson Tigers for the National Championship. Both teams bring impressive defenses, but all eyes are likely to be on the offensive skill players in what could be a shootout.
LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is coming off a Heisman Trophy season and a semifinal performance that was one of the best halves of football we’ll ever see. He threw for seven touchdowns as LSU rolled over Oklahoma with ease to advance to the title game. If you’re bullish on LSU’s chances Monday evening, the only thing that could stop Burrow from putting up big numbers is if LSU puts up too many points in the early going!
