Opening NBA point spreads for January 12th schedule

We take a look at the initial spreads on DraftKings Sportsbook for Sunday’s seven-game NBA card.

We have seven games on tap for Sunday’s NBA slate, and there will be at least one interesting narrative you have to keep an eye on. The action will start with a pair of 3:30 p.m. ET tipoffs and will be wrapped up following a pair of games at 8:00 p.m. ET.

San Antonio Spurs wing DeMar DeRozan will be visiting his old team, the Toronto Raptors, for the second time since being sent to Texas for Kawhi Leonard. DeRozan’s return to a franchise he was such an important part off could make for a nice storyline. DeRozan couldn’t get his former team over the hump to win a championship, and now he’ll have a chance to have a revenge game against a Raptors team that’s been devastated by injuries.

Leonard, now a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, will face off against the Denver Nuggets. Both sides are among the Western Conference’s best, so this should make for a quality matchup at the Pepsi Center.

Here are the initial lines for tonight’s nine-game slate on DraftKings Sportsbook:

Jazz @ Wizards (+8, 223.5) 3:30 p.m. ET
Heat @ Knicks (+8.5, 218.5) 3:30 p.m. ET
Spurs @ Raptors (-3, 220.5) 6:00 p.m. ET
Hawks @ Nets (-7.5, 231.5) 6:00 p.m. ET
Warriors @ Grizzlies (-6.5, 222) 6:00 p.m. ET
Clippers @ Nuggets (-1.5, 220.5) 8:00 p.m. ET
Hornets @ Suns (-8, 219.5) 8:00 p.m. ET

Note: Bets and DFS players will lock at those specific game times.
