The Green Bay Packers will face the Seattle Seahawks Sunday in the Divisional Round, and they have two running backs that could be threats to put points on the board. Aaron Jones is the starter, but you can expect Jamaal Williams to get some work as well.
Jones has been Green Bay’s feature back since Week 1 and played in every regular season game this year. He rushed for a career-high 1,084 yards and 16 touchdowns and has plenty of momentum heading into the postseason. Williams didn’t play in the season finale because of a shoulder injury but was a full participant in practice this week.
Fantasy football analysis: Packers RBs Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams
Jones ran for at least 100 yards three of the Packers’ last four games while averaging around 19 carries per contest. Every time he’s reached the century mark this season Green Bay has won, so it’s likely that he’ll get plenty of touches. Williams hasn’t tallied 10 carries in a game since Week 13 and hasn’t reached the end zone since Week 9. He should be used sparingly to relieve Jones, but probably doesn’t have much upside in this game.
Start/Sit Recomendation
Start Jones and sit Williams.
