Mike Vrabel says he would make a heck of a sacrifice for a Super Bowl win

Ouch. Just, ouch.

The Tennessee Titans upset the New England Patriots in the Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs, and are about set to stun the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional Round. If they hold on, they will travel next week for an AFC Championship Game matchup against the winner of the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans.

There will be plenty of stories discussed if the Titans continue their magical run and earn a Super Bowl berth. One of the most interesting is the chance for Ryan Tannehill to play in a Super Bowl game in his former Miami home. Tannehill was cast off by Miami and seemed to be destined for a career as a backup quarterback. Instead, he has made some big plays and made a name for himself since Mike Vrabel moved him into the starting lineup over Marcus Mariota.

Speaking of Mike Vrabel....

Audio has surfaced from an offseason interview in which Vrabel told a couple of his players on their podcast what he’d be willing to do to win a Super Bowl. He said he’d probably be willing to cut off his penis. He made a joke about being married 20 years and his wife’s willingness to do it for him. She later confirmed as much on Twitter.

I’m not entirely sure what to do with this information, although I suppose maybe it would make sense to hammer Titans Super Bowl futures coming out of this likely win over the Ravens. I wouldn’t say there’s motivation, but clearly Vrabel is prepared to do whatever it takes to win a Super Bowl. That’s some critical motivation.
