UPDATE: After the game, Mostert told the media he had a calf camp related to a sickness he dealt with this week. He got an IV after the game and is not concerned moving forward, according to ESPN’s Nick Wagoner.

#49ers RB Raheem Mostert tells me the calf cramp he had today came after he had been battling some sickness this week. He got an IV and said he has no concerns moving forward.

San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert was a little banged up toward the end of his team’s Divisional Round matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. He left the game late with a calf injury and did not return.

Although Mostert has been a valuable asset for the 49ers leading up to the playoffs, but didn’t make his mark on this game the way he has in recent weeks. He recovered a muffed punt in the third quarter that helped his team pull away but took a back seat to Tevin Coleman in the run game.

Fantasy Football analysis: 49ers RB Raheem Mostert

Mostert totaled 58 rushing yards on 12 carries while Coleman starred as San Francisco’s feature back by tallying 105 rushing yards and two scores on 22 carries. The 49ers have continued to cycle through their running backs, so it’s hard to pinpoint which option will take the lead moving forward. Mostert will be worth tracking this week on the practice participation reports for the NFC Championship Game. Even if healthy, his fantasy status is not clear after this week’s personnel decision.
