Klay Thompson will be re-evaluated at the All-Star Break

Golden State Warriors SG Klay Thompson will be re-evaluated at the All-Star Break, but is not expected to return this season.

Thompson, who is recovering from a torn ACL suffered during the 2019 NBA Finals, is still not expected to play this season. Still, we’re still following his recovery from injury in hopes that maybe he will be back before 2020-21. The Warriors have been without Thompson and Stephen Curry — the Splash Bros — for most of this season. It’s resulted in the team heading towards the NBA Draft lottery, and perhaps a No. 1 overall pick. If the Dubs can add a top prospect to a core of Curry, Thompson and Draymond Green and D’Angelo Russell, they’d have a shot at rekindling the dynasty that has won three of the past four NBA Championships.
