We’re a little over 72 hours away from kicking off the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship Game! The LSU Tigers face the Clemson Tigers in New Orleans, and the betting public is firmly backing the LSU variety of Tigers in the title game.
DraftKings Sportsbook opened this one at LSU -3.5, but the line quickly moved up to 5.5. The public has been hammering LSU regularly in this one. On the point spread, 68 percent of the handle and 73 percent of total bets are on LSU. On the money line, 63 percent of the handle and 62 percent of total bets have been on LSU (-210) over Clemson (+180).
The point total opened at 71, but has come down to 69. Heading into the weekend, 70 percent of the handle and 60 percent of total bets are on this one going over the total.
LSU got some good news this past week at practice. Guard Damien Lewis and wide receiver Terrace Marshall, Jr. both returned to practice. Marshall is further ahead, according to head coach Ed Orgeron, but both are believed to be on track to play on Monday.
