Standard running back rankings for wild card round fantasy football

Derrick Henry gets the nod as the No. 1 standard back due to Alvin Kamara’s tough matchup on the ground against the Vikings, but they are basically interchangeable in my mind, as Kamara’s upside is higher this week.

I still have Devin Singletary and Miles Sanders ahead of Sony Michel and Carlos Hyde, but it’s closer in standard scoring. Marshawn Lynch gets a bump but Travis Homer played well enough last week and was used in a more versatile way to stay ahead of him in the rankings, especially against a good Eagles run defense.

Latavius Murray faces his old team and has some value in standard, especially if the Saints get out to a big lead while Jordan Howard could return this week and vulture some goal line work. With Sanders likely playing, Boston Scott has more upside in PPR leagues than standard.

James White will need to find the end zone to have any value in standard leagues, but he’s done that plenty in the playoffs and is always worth an extra look this time of the year.
