Quarterback rankings for wild card round fantasy football

We take you through some of the best quarterbacks going in the wild card round for fantasy football.

We have eight quarterbacks to choose from and whatever Taysom Hill is. Drew Brees is the clear leader this weekend and is likely the safest play going. After him, we have some strong quarterbacks with decent upside, so Brees isn’t the only quarterback to go after, but they are smashed together in a big Tier 2.

It’s crazy to rank Tom Brady so low but his matchup isn’t great and he’s shown very little upside this season. A couple dump offs to James White can give him fantasy relevance pretty quickly but he’s not set up for big fantasy points.

I like the Eagles/Seahawks and Saints/Vikings for the best game environment for fantasy upside but Josh Allen has a good matchup and Ryan Tannehill has been playing too well and consistently to completely fade, especially after Ryan Fitzpatrick just went into Foxboro and put up good numbers.

The whole group has valid reasons to give them a shot this week, which is why I’m hoping to have Brees, so I don’t have to choose.
