Point spread, total, moneyline and more for Titans-Browns in Week 1

The Cleveland Browns have been getting a ton of love this offseason. But they face a dicey matchup out of the gate in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans. We break down all the odds, including the point spread, the over/under, and some interesting player prop bets.

It is a true make-or-break year for Titans QB Marcus Mariota, who has struggled plenty with injury and poor play over his Tennessee tenure. The team was 26th in offensive yards per play in 2018, and Mariota missed plenty of action due to injury. Now that Ryan Tannehill is backing him up, there should be a little more offensive continuity of Mariota goes down, and he could end up being replaced outright by the former Dolphins starter if he can’t spark some more offensive production. Tennessee made significant investments in the team over the off-season, signing Adam Humphries and Roger Saffold to boost the offense (they also drafted A.J. Brown in the second round), as well as Kenny Vaccaro and Cam Wake on defense. The Titans are a work in progress for second-year head coach Mike Vrabel.

It’s always sunny in...Cleveland? One the NFL’s doormat, the Browns are expected to be one of the better teams in the league in 2019. They traded for Odell Beckham and Olivier Vernon from the Giants, signed Sheldon Richardson, and added Todd Monken as the offensive coordinator. Monken led an aggressive downfield passing attack while in Tampa Bay, and is expected to do some similar things with Baker Mayfield and the Browns. Cleveland averaged 2.63 more points per game, and almost a full points per drive more after firing Hue Jackson and Todd Haley and promoting Freddie Kitchens to head coach. In that time frame, Cleveland led the league in yards per play.
