Editor’s update 2:58 p.m.: The Jaguars announced their Week 4 inactives, and cornerback Jalen Ramsey will officially be sitting out the game. He was listed as questionable with a back injury, but his trade request might have played into this as well. Regardless, this bodes well for both Courtland Sutton and Emmanuel Sanders. Nobody is starting Joe Flacco this week in fantasy football, but those two, and maybe Noah Fant benefit in the passing game with Ramsey sidelined.
Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey has been a question mark all week, and he will be a game-time decision on Sunday against the Denver Broncos. Ramsey is listed as questionable with a back injury that kept him out of practice all week. He traveled with the team to Denver, and ESPN’s Josina Anderson is reporting he will see how he feels at the Broncos stadium before the game.
Ramsey made a trade request a week and a half ago, and while it is not expected to happen quite yet, the cornerback has said he is not rescinding his request. This practice week got going with a report that Ramsey told the Jaguars he had the flu. However, his back has been the issue that landed him on the injury report.
Fantasy analysis: IDP leagues might take notice, but for fantasy football purposes, the big impact is on Joe Flacco and the Broncos passing game. Emmanuel Sanders and Courtland Sutton would benefit if the Jaguars are without Ramsey. A.J. Bouye brings his own challenges, but Ramsey is in the argument for best cornerback in the league. Sanders and Sutton would likely both benefit from him being off the field. If he is declared inactive, both are worth a bump in your game-day decision-making process.
